Insulation method of heating and ventilation pipes
In the industry, "HVAC" is generally used to refer to air conditioners with heating, ventilation and air conditioning functions, which is an important part of building functions, which means that it is difficult for us to live without it.
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) refers to the system or related equipment responsible for heating, ventilation and air conditioning indoors or vehicles. The HVAC system can control the temperature and humidity of the air and improve indoor comfort. It is an important part of medium and large industrial buildings or office buildings (such as skyscrapers).
Use of HVAC
HVAC can control indoor humidity and temperature, adjust and maintain a constant indoor temperature, and achieve the effect of "warm in winter and cool in summer".
The HVAC system is to realize the function of ventilation, including a complete set of devices including air inlets, air outlets, air supply ducts, fans, cooling and heating, filters, control systems and other ancillary equipment.
Three ways to keep warm.
In order to better achieve the purpose of indoor temperature regulation and air cleanliness, the air ducts of HVAC systems can now be roughly divided into three types of duct insulation methods: internal thermal insulation, external thermal insulation, and middle-layer thermal insulation. These three types of duct insulation correspond to different duct materials and installation methods. The following is an example of these three thermal insulation methods with the representative thermal insulation material "glass wool" in the market.
1. HVAC External Insulation
The outer layer of HVAC duct insulation (external insulation), this thermal insulation method is made of the common "external thermal insulation material + metal duct".
For example, the common "external thermal insulation" is to add a layer of thermal insulation material glass wool directly outside the galvanized iron air duct to play the role of thermal insulation. In general, the thermal insulation effect of external insulation is average, the energy consumption will be relatively large, and there will be noise generated during use, which is a point criticized by many people.
2. HVAC Internal Insulation
The inner layer of the HVAC duct is insulated (internal thermal insulation). This thermal insulation method is made of the common "internal thermal insulation material + metal duct".
For example, the common "internal thermal insulation" refers to the direct built-in glass wool of the thermal insulation material layer of the air duct, and the formaldehyde-free environmental protection reinforced air duct integrated with the thermal insulation and the air duct is one of the representatives. The thermal insulation material glass wool directly plays the role of energy saving and thermal insulation, so the thermal insulation in the air duct has high requirements on the thermal insulation material used. Generally, formaldehyde-free environmentally friendly glass wool is used to prevent the emission of formaldehyde and other harmful gases, which endanger our health.
3. HVAC medium insulation
The middle-layer insulation (medium insulation) of the air-conditioning HVAC duct is made of the common "intermediate layer insulation material + double-layer metal air duct".
For example, the common "medium insulation" is to place the glass wool of the air duct insulation material directly in the middle of the interlayer of the double-layer metal air duct. To visualize is that the double-layer metal air duct sandwiches the insulating material glass wool in the middle, and the insulating material glass wool is not exposed, forming the function of heat preservation.
The air duct of this thermal insulation method is represented by a double-layer thermal insulation metal duct, which does not require high thermal insulation materials. Compared with the above two thermal insulation ducts, the material cost of the double-layer thermal insulation metal duct is much higher. It is used for usage scenarios that require higher security and quality.
There is also a common HVAC special "formaldehyde-free environmental protection muffler duct"
The formaldehyde-free environment-friendly muffler air duct is made of high-density formaldehyde-free glass wool material directly into the shape of the air duct. The middle layer of this new type of air duct is made of high-density formaldehyde-free environmentally friendly glass wool sheet, the inner layer is made of composite glass fiber felt, and the outer layer is veneered with high-strength aluminum foil, which not only saves energy and heat preservation, but also can absorb sound and reduce noise. The applicable wind pressure, wind speed and the strength of the material itself are strictly tested, and there are relevant national standard test reports, and the service life can generally reach 20 years.
