How to connect the air outlet
Air outlet connection with valve (exposed duct):
Open the air duct wall according to the size of the tuyere, and glue the throat to the opening (the length of the throat is required by the design). After the adhesive is cured, insert the air outlet into the throat and fix it with self-operating screws. Set up independent supports and hangers according to regulations.
According to the size of the tuyere, an opening is made on the wall of the air duct, and a shaped iron piece is inserted into the insulation layer on both sides of the opening. The rectangular iron piece is made of 0.5-1.0mm galvanized sheet. Then insert the tuyere, and fix the tuyere on the shaped piece with self-operating screws. To install the tuyere with a throat, insert the plane tuyere into the throat and fix it with self-tapping screws.

According to the size of the tuyere, cut the opening on the duct and glue the throat.
Put the soft joint on the outside of the throat, press it with galvanized corrugated plate, and fix it with self-tapping screws. The screw spacing is less than 150mm. When the length of the throat diameter is greater than 500mm, an independent support and hanger shall be provided.
To connect branch ducts to the main duct.
Use a portable cutting machine to make an opening on the wall of the main air duct, and the opening size is the size of the inner wall of the branch air duct plus 6mm.
Make the branch duct according to the design size, and cut the connection into a stepped shape.
Problems that should be paid attention to during the installation process:
Safe operation requirements.
The air duct must not be operated by people. When the person is working, you cannot directly step on the air duct with your feet. You should use two wooden boards of about 1000×20mm to stand on the feet (increase the force area), and move forward alternately to ensure safety.
Causes and repairs of air duct cracks.
The special adhesive for air ducts has high bonding strength and can withstand 15,000 pa wind pressure. During installation and use, if some cracks are found, it is caused by lack of glue or too thick colloid during bonding, and unreasonable arrangement of expansion joints.
Found cracks can be repaired with repair glue.
The repair methods are: 1. Sand the 50mm area around the crack line and remove the dust particles; 2. Press the repair glue into the crack; 3. Put a glass cloth on the crack. Use repair glue to repair flat and beautiful.
When supplying air at ultra-low temperature, the insulation layer of the air duct shall be thickened according to the design requirements.
The thickness of the fire and smoke exhaust duct is 18mm, which is suitable for the design requirements of ventilation temperature of 600℃, 480℃, 280℃, and ventilation time of 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 180 minutes. The construction method is the same as that of the HVAC. When the cross-sectional span of the duct reaches and exceeds 1300, reinforcement measures are started. Corner strips are pasted at the four corners of the inner wall, and a support column is set in the middle.

The main air duct should have a certain slope to allow water to flow into the sprinkler room. Prevent water from accumulating on the bottom of the duct.
The splicing method of the corner small boards is as follows: 1. The foam board on the splicing surface is brushed with a wire brush to 1-2mm. 2. Apply special glue on the splicing surface. 3. Tighten the splicing surface and cure it under the condition that the splicing board is flat. Can be used to make air ducts below 900mm.
