How to construct air duct rubber and plastic insulation?
This method is formed by improving the rubber and plastic insulation of traditional galvanized steel air ducts. The core is to improve the cutting method of rubber and plastic insulation boards. The four sides of the air duct are cut from the whole board, and the four corners are cut and connected at 45° to ensure that the The four sides of the insulation layer are at right angles to reduce the bonding seam. Rectangular straight air duct rubber-plastic insulation layer board stakeout, according to the side length of the air duct and the thickness of the rubber-plastic board, the stakeout adopts the combination method. According to the pre-measured air duct specifications, calculate the loft size.
Use a steel ruler or a steel tape measure to measure the board according to the calculated loft size, and use a square aluminum alloy ruler and a paintbrush to draw the V-shaped groove line and 45-degree slope line on the board. The joints between the insulation board and the air duct surface reduces the number of joints and enhances the thermal insulation effect of the air duct.
It is required that the paper cutter be inclined to the left and right by 45° when cutting the chamfer, so that the "V"-shaped notch cut out is 90°, which is easy to fold into a right angle. When cutting, the tool should be close to the ruler to ensure that the incision is straight and to prevent cutting dimensional errors.
1. Construction preparation
(1) The direction, coordinates, and elevation of the air ducts of each system are installed accurately, and the air leakage and light leakage detection tests of the air ducts are completed to meet the requirements.
(2) Prepare a blanking list according to the system air duct model.
(3) The technical personnel shall make technical disclosure to the construction personnel, clarify the size and requirements of the insulation cutting material, and make a record of the operation instruction.
(4) Compile the construction plan of the on-site processing operation platform to ensure that the construction conditions meet the implementation of the plan.
2. Wipe and clean the surface of the air duct
Use rags, paint brushes and other tools to clean the dust or putty and other attachments on the surface of the air duct to ensure that the surface of the air duct is clean and free of debris and does not affect the surface brushing.
3. Cut the insulation board according to the size of the air duct
The cutting of the insulation board is divided into straight pipe sections, elbows, reducing pipes and air valve parts, etc., all of which are cut as a whole. The four edges and corners of the pipe are cut at a 45-degree angle to ensure that there is only one adhesive seam at the bottom or top of the air duct.
4. Brush glue on the surface of the air duct and the plate
The thermal insulation glue should be evenly coated on the outer surface of the air duct, components or equipment, without gaps and omissions. Brush glue in the order of brushing insulation material first and brushing the surface of the air duct, and the glue film is required to be uniform and no flow.
5. Rubber-plastic board paste
Let the glue stand for 2 minutes for initial setting, first paste the top board and the rubber-plastic boards on both sides, and press repeatedly with the clapper to ensure that the insulation material is tightly bonded to the air duct, components or equipment, and then paste the bottom insulation board. For irregular parts such as right-angle elbows and B-bends, four sides can be pasted separately, and the side elevations are pressed against the upper and lower bottom surfaces.
6. Flange insulation
For the flange connection of the two air ducts, adopt the method of adding a belt to keep warm, and the width of the belt should be 100mm.
7. Inspection and acceptance
After the rubber-plastic board is pasted, check the flatness with a level ruler, and press the parts beyond the deviation range to ensure the flatness of the surface. After the rubber-plastic board is pasted and trimmed, it will be reported to the supervision unit for acceptance after self-inspection by the project department.
