Air conditioning system components
1. Gas-liquid separator
In the evaporator, as the liquid evaporates in the evaporator, the liquid changes into a gas. Due to the change of load, there may be a part of the refrigerant that is not fully evaporated, but will directly enter the compressor. Due to the incompressibility of the liquid, before entering the compressor, it must first pass through the gas-liquid separator to ensure that all the gas entering the compressor is gas and the compressor can operate normally. The gas-liquid separator is installed at the inlet end of the compressor, mainly to prevent the low-pressure low-temperature steam returning to the compressor from carrying too much liquid droplets and to prevent liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor cylinder. The separator also has the functions of filtration, oil return, and liquid storage.
The high-pressure accumulator in the refrigeration system is installed between the condenser and the expansion valve, and its functions can be summarized in several aspects:
★Storage of condenser condensate
★Adapt to the demand for supply due to the load fluctuation of the evaporator
★As a liquid seal between the high and low pressure sides of the system
3. Oil and gas separator
The oil-air separator is installed between the compressor and the condenser. Its working principle is: the exhaust gas of the compressor is a mixture of freon and lubricating oil, which is decelerated through the larger cavity of the oil separator. The mist-like oil collects on the impacted surface, and when it collects into larger oil droplets, it flows to the bottom of the oil separator and returns to the compressor through the oil return device.
4. Dry filter
The function of the filter is to prevent water from entering the system due to the presence of water in the refrigerant or due to irreducible elements. When the high-temperature liquid from the condenser enters the expansion valve, the temperature of the liquid will drop significantly, generally below zero. At this time, if there is moisture in the system, since the section through which the expansion valve passes is very small, ice blockage will easily occur, which will affect the normal operation of the system.
5. Four-way reversing valve
The four-way reversing valve is suitable for heat pump air conditioning systems such as central air conditioners and unit air conditioners. It is used to switch the circulation path of the refrigerant to achieve the purpose of cooling and heating.
6. water pump
The water pump is a tool used to accelerate the flow of water to achieve the effect of enhancing the heat exchange of water in the heat exchanger.
7. pressure controller
The pressure controller is used for pressure control and pressure protection. The unit has low pressure and high pressure controllers to control the working range of the system pressure. When the system pressure reaches the set value, the switch will automatically cut off (or connect) the circuit.
8. Differential pressure controller
The differential pressure controller is used to control the differential pressure. When the differential pressure reaches the set value, the switch automatically cuts off (or turns on) the circuit.
