3. Comparison of the performance of the three types of air ducts

3.1 Noise reduction performance Galvanized sheet steel duct: No noise reduction performance, a muffler must be installed, and the muffler must achieve its due effect, and its setting position has certain requirements, which is difficult to achieve in actual engineering, resulting in actual The muffling effect is difficult to guarantee. And when the wind speed is high, the unilateral length is large and the reinforcement is not enough, or the secondary noise is generated when it is matched with a high and medium frequency fan. Inorganic glass fiber reinforced plastic duct: no sound attenuation performance, sound insulation performance is better than galvanized sheet steel duct, a muffler must be installed, like galvanized sheet steel duct, it not only takes up more space, and the effect of noise treatment is not ideal. Composite glass fiber board duct: Its wall is a porous sound-absorbing material, which has good sound absorption effect on medium and high-frequency sound waves. It is a good tube muffler that can eliminate primary noise from air conditioning equipment and The secondary noise generated by the valve body, pipe fittings, etc., has a more obvious effect with the extension of the pipeline, and the special muffler can be omitted.

  3.2 Thermal insulation performance Galvanized sheet steel duct: The thermal conductivity is very large (60.4 W/m & #183; K), no thermal insulation performance, additional insulation layer and protective layer must be added. The insulation thickness at the flange of the duct is not easy to guarantee or there is no heat preservation, which will cause the phenomenon of cold bridge, and the coverage uniformity of the insulation layer on the wall of the duct is sometimes difficult to guarantee due to insufficient installation clearance. Inorganic glass fiber reinforced plastic air duct: high thermal conductivity (0.5W/m & #183; K), no heat preservation performance, additional insulation layer and protective layer must be added, and the characteristics of the insulation layer are the same as the galvanized steel sheet air duct. Composite glass fiber board duct: low thermal conductivity (average temperature of 24 ℃ is 0.029W/m & #183; K, 70 ℃ is 0.04W/m & #183; K), especially the appearance of composite aluminum foil cloth has a very high Heat reflection ability.
