The advantages of laser processing are mainly reflected in the fact that there is no deformation, high flexibility, small slitting, smooth section without burrs, and it can cut arbitrarily complex graphics workpieces. Then, for different plate thicknesses, power plays an important determinant of the quality and speed of the slit.

About; the maximum speed of stainless steel about 3mm using a 500W machine is about 0.4 meters per minute, and the maximum speed of using a 1000W machine is about 1.4 meters per minute, the difference is very obvious. It can be seen that when facing the 500W and 1000W fiber laser cutting machines, the 1000W fiber laser cutting machine is obviously a more sensible choice.
Most of the metal plates/tubes processed by laser cutting machines on the market are below 16mm, and a few will exceed this thickness.
1) It is recommended to choose 4000W-6000W if the thickness is more than 12mm for frequent processing;
2) Thickness 8-10mm, 1500W-3000W optional;
3) Thickness 5-8mm, 1000-2000W optional.
4) Small thickness can be 500-1000W. This type of power range is often cost-effective
