The solution to the overheating of small holes in carbon steel cutting: When cutting carbon steel with oxygen as an auxiliary gas, the key to solving the problem lies in how to suppress the generation of oxidation reaction heat.

Auxiliary oxygen can be used when drilling, and the delay can be changed to auxiliary air or nitrogen for cutting. This method can process small holes with an upper limit of 1/6 thickness.
